In this episode of the Fandomania: Geek Music podcast, I talk to Mikey Mason. His latest release is Driven. It’s a much more diverse collection of songs than his previous albums, both musically and lyrically, with a mix of his usual comedy with a couple more serious songs.

Songs played in the show:

  • “The Opposite of Cool”
  • “Monkey”
  • “Electric Monk”

In this episode of the Fandomania: Geek Music podcast, I talk again to Aramis. His latest release is Virtuoso. He’s also released a single, “Pride,” which you should check out. And there should be a new EP to keep an eye out for soon!

Songs played in the show:

  • “Push” (feat. Ambush Vin)
  • “Spike Spiegel”
  • “Pride” (feat. DJ Monk Matthaeus)

In this episode of the Fandomania: Geek Music podcast, I talk again to B of BType (that’s now technically the band name, but it’s also still kinda his name so it gets a bit weird). Their latest release is the Grey EP. It’s quite a departure from their usual chip-hop music, but it’s another worthy entry to their catalog.

Songs played in the show:

  • “Grey”
  • “MomentaryVoluntaryChemicalLobotomy”
  • “Alexa Bliss”

In this episode of the Fandomania: Geek Music podcast, I talk to Marian Call. Her latest release is Standing Stones. It came out last yet, but just around the time I went on hiatus. I’d been wanting to have her on since I came back, but I’ll admit I kinda had to work up the courage to email her. I’m so glad I finally did! I learned so much about the album, making me appreciate it even more than I already did. If you haven’t yet given it a listen, you really owe it to yourself to set aside some time to listen to it in full without distraction. It’s so worth it!

Oh, also she has an online concert over on Concert Window on April 21st, so watch and donate if you can.

Songs played in the show:

  • “No Paper”
  • “Standing Stones”
  • “Grandpa Had It Right”
